Travel Scholarship Recipients Announced
With generous support from the Arcus Foundation we were able to cover the costs of registration, travel, and accommodation for five ape-range country nationals to attend Chimpanzees in Context where they will present their research to an international audience. We received many excellent applications for this scholarship and we are proud to announce our five winners.

Over the course of three days in August 2016, Lincoln Park Zoo’s Lester E. Fisher Center for the Study & Conservation of Apes will host eight themed sessions, showcasing 40 invited presenters, and an open-call ePoster session, for discussions of all that is Pan! Chimpanzees in Context also marks the thirty year anniversary since the first ‘Understanding Chimpanzees’ meeting, which was co-organized by Jane Goodall and Paul Heltne and also held in Chicago.
